Privacy

How the current Curating.info website approaches visitor privacy.

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Our current approach

Curating.info is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not currently offer user accounts, contact or submission forms, or a newsletter, and we do not use advertising or behavioral analytics.

Curating.info does not currently operate a user backend or offer its own paid software-as-a-service product.

The Exhibition Planner stores exhibition projects locally in the user’s browser using browser storage. Project names, artists, notes, budgets, tasks and checklists are not sent to a Curating.info server.

Exhibition Planner data

Planner projects remain on the browser and device where they were created. Clearing site data, resetting the browser or changing devices may remove or make those local projects unavailable. Users should export regular JSON backups, especially before clearing browser data or moving to another device.

Curating.info does not currently provide accounts, cloud synchronization or server recovery for Planner projects. An exported backup is the portable recovery copy available in the current version.

Tool drafts

The Exhibition Budget Calculator and Artwork Label Maker automatically store one current draft per tool in the user’s browser. These drafts are not projects, are not synchronized and are not sent to a Curating.info server. Clearing site data removes them.

Technical data

Curating.info uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent and related technical logs. Curating.info does not use this information to create behavioral profiles.

This technical delivery data does not include the content entered in the Exhibition Planner, Exhibition Budget Calculator or Artwork Label Maker. Information entered in those tools continues to be processed and stored locally in the user’s browser as described above.

External links

Curating.info may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage readers to review them before sharing personal information.

Changes to this notice

We will revise this notice when the site adds features that materially change how information is handled. The date above will identify the latest version.
