Job: Assistant Curator at Nottingham Contemporary

Nottingham Contemporary will be an international arts centre with a strong local sense of purpose. Designed by the acclaimed architects Caruso St John, an iconic building is now taking shape in the city's historic Lace Market. It will be one of the largest contemporary arts spaces in the UK.
As assistant curator, you will help to realise Nottingham Contemporary's exciting international exhibition programme. You will help to project manage exhibitions and projects, ensuring effective co-ordination and scheduling, researching loans, organising transport, insurance, and contracts. You will have at least two years relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of budget monitoring, an aptitude for team work and an ability to meet deadlines under pressure are all essential.
Deadline: Monday 26th May, 2008
Salary £20,577 to £22,687
